Seiko · ref SKX009 · 1990s–2019
The SKX009 is the SKX007 with a blue-and-red Pepsi bezel and a dark blue dial, and that's about the only difference. You get the same 200m case about 42.5mm across, the same screw-down crown at 4 o'clock and the same 7S26 automatic, which winds itself as you wear it but can't be hand-wound or hacked. Seiko sold the two side by side until the SKX line ended in 2019, and the Seiko 5 Sports models that followed kept the look without the screw-down crown or the 200m rating. That's a big reason clean SKX009s are still in demand. Like the 007, it's been a favorite base for modders for decades, so the bezel insert, dial and hands are the parts to check against factory photos. The J version, with Made in Japan on the dial, turns up less often than the K. If you like the SKX shape and want a little color on your wrist, this is the one to get.
Swapped bezel inserts, dials and hands are the main worry, because the SKX009 shares its parts with a huge modding scene. As with any 7S26, a watch that hasn't been serviced in years may run well off time.
Buying guide
For a Pepsi SKX009 to wear, we'd take the K version with its box and papers at $413 delivered, or the US one titled "RUNS!" at $339 if you'd rather spend less. There are about 153 for sale and most ask $390–525 delivered; J versions with Made in Japan on the dial start around $410, and Japan-listed watches add $50–110 shipping. Check the bezel insert, dial and hands against factory photos, since this is a favorite base for modders, and check the seller's feedback and return policy on the item page, because eBay's search cards don't show them. Skip the $1,155 SKX009J from Japan, which asks about $630 over the band with nothing in the title to explain it.
$338.88delivered
Titled "RUNS!" at $339 delivered from a US seller, about $50 under the $390–525 band. Ask for a caseback photo showing 7S26-0020 and a close look at the bezel insert, since swapped Pepsi inserts are common.

The UK seller titles it working, at $393 delivered, right at the bottom of the band. Allow for import fees, and ask when it was last serviced.
Seiko SKX009 Pepsi Diver Navy Dial Men's Automatic 7S26A Vintage Watch-- Working
$409.99delivered
A J version, the Made in Japan dial collectors look for, at $410 delivered in the middle of the band. The title is a bare catalog line, so check that the dial reads Made in Japan and 21 Jewels in the photos.
