Seiko · ref SRPB43
Cocktail Time began in 2010 as a Japan-market Seiko made with Shinobu Ishigaki, the Tokyo bartender behind Ishinohana Bar in Shibuya, whose drinks inspired the sunburst dials. The best known of those early watches was the SARB065 with a 6R15 movement. The SRPB43 is its successor, released around 2017 under the Presage name and sold officially in the US, which the SARB065 never was. Worn & Wound calls the two largely identical apart from the movement. The SRPB43 uses the 4R35, which hacks and hand-winds but has about 41 hours of reserve to the 6R15's 50. The light blue sunray dial is the reason to buy it, with applied markers, beveled hands and a blued seconds hand under a tall, domed box crystal. The steel case is 40.5mm with a display back and 50 meters of water resistance, so treat it as a dress watch. It suits someone who wants a lot of dial for the money and is happy with a workhorse movement.
Faults are mostly cosmetic on a watch this young. The tall box crystal stands proud of the case, so its edge and the polished case sides are where knocks show.
Buying guide
If you're fine with used, we'd buy the one from Canada at $371 delivered, and if you want new, the US listing at $450 delivered with free shipping. There are only about 8 for sale, so the $440–650 band isn't much of a market read, and most of it is new stock: new ones ask $450–532 delivered, while two new J1s from Indonesia ask about $730. Read the case back for SRPB43, since the SRPB41 and SRPB46 have different dials, and check the edge of the tall box crystal for chips in the photos. eBay's watch search doesn't show seller feedback, so check it and the return policy on the item page.
$209.42est. delivered
Used with box and papers at $209 delivered, but it's an auction with no bids yet, so it will climb. We'd stop near $370 delivered, since that's what the cheapest used one asks at a fixed price.

$370.79est. delivered
The cheapest fixed-price used SRPB43 at $371 delivered, about $80 under the cheapest new one. The title says nothing about condition or box, so ask for photos of the crystal edge and the dial at an angle.
