Casio · ref A159W
The A159W is the F-91W in metal. It uses the same module 593, so you get the same 1/100-second stopwatch, daily alarm, hourly chime and seven-year CR2016 battery, inside a chrome-plated case on a stainless steel bracelet. The silver A159WA is the everyday one. The gold A159WGEA-1 adds an ion-plated gold bracelet and a gold-colored case, and Casio has also made versions with small diamond accents. At 33.2mm wide it's one of the smaller Casios, so it suits slim wrists and anyone who wants a retro digital that doesn't shout. It's only rated Water Resistant, so treat it as splash-proof. If a listing calls the gold one a Casio Royale, it's borrowing the AE-1200's nickname, which comes from that watch's likeness to a Seiko in the Bond film Octopussy. Pick silver or gold to taste and look for clean plating.
Plating wears first at the clasp and case edges, more visibly on the gold version. Fakes of cheap Casio digitals are common, and they usually give themselves away with poor printing and a washed-out screen.
Buying guide
Buy a used A159W from a US or UK seller that's titled working, and $44 to $50 delivered gets you one in silver or gold. There are about 200 listed, and most ask $50–100 delivered, with Japan resellers adding up to $60 shipping that pushes some well past it. Read A159W and module 593 on the caseback in the photos, zoom in on the clasp for worn plating, and check the seller's feedback and return policy on the item page, since cheap Casio digitals get faked. Skip the $220 one from Pakistan, which asks $120 over the band with nothing in the title to explain it.

The lowest delivered A159W here at $44, and the seller titles it working and dates it to about 1989. It ships from the UK, so allow for the wait and any import fees.
